I visited the store in Concord NH and have never been treated as bad as I was treated there. The customer service has to be the worst I have ever experienced. I e mailed the store requesting the District Manager to contact me. That was 5 days ago and still have not heard from him or her. What great customer service!

I resently bought a golf club from the Dick's store in Newington Ct. The sales person there ( Dick Casavant ) was absolutly the best ! Extremely knowledgeable and very, very helpful. If all the sales people I deal with were half as good as Dick the world would be a great place.

My son recieved a Dick's Sporting Goods sportwear shirt for Christmas from his Aunt, it was a size to large. I tried to return it ...1.same conditions as purchased. 2. With the tags attached. 3. With reciept, within 30 days. My son was not with me to choose something diffrent so when I asked for my refund, I was told it could NOT be given my cash back, that he had to have a gift certificate. 1. I'm sorry but you had nothing else for him 2. We are customers we should be able to get a refund, you got your merchandise back 3, I WILL NOT be treated like this, YOU ARE NOT the only game in town and how dare you think you're going to make me shop somewhere , where I can't return something and get MY money back, You had no problem taking the money. Gee, my son is 16 and is in 4-5 diffrent sports, let alone has friends. Sucks to be in your business now because I WON'T SHOP THERE! When do people stop taking advantage of others over the almighty DECLINING dollar.

I went to the Taunton,Mass.store to purchase a few different gifts. First...good luck finding someone to help you and when you do, they are not too happy.I had my hands full with afew items and then had to DRAG,literally,DRAG a huge boxed tree stand through the whoe store...mind you I passed by salespeople who looked at me like I had 3 heads or something. I get up frontwhen a lightbulb goes off in the clerks head and says....need a carriage? I could go on and on. Anyway I wont be doing any more shopping there needless to say. They lost a good customer. This was not my first bad experience with Dicks

I just got great service at Dick's in Worcester. My club was reqripped for a reasonable price. While there I asked the pro, Pat Gleason, if he could tell me my swing speed. Not only did he tell me my swing speed but he gave me some helpful pointers about my stance and swing. A great experience.

My husband and i was shopping in the Franklin, TN store on Valentine's Day. After being rang up incorrectly for the jacket that he bought me, i went in the store the next day to get an explanation of the receipt, after a confused expression from the "customer service" associate, i decided that i would just return with the jacket the next day. When i told her that i would return, she replied "whatever floats your boat". Are you kidding me? As a customer service representative, would anyone ever say that to a customer? The whole ordeal has been an inconvienience, and i am seriously considering never shopping there again. Ive never felt so insulted!

Excellent experience, as usual. As a frequesnt shopper, many of the staff recognize me. They are usually helpful and kmowledgeable. Yesterday there was a mistake in the price tage, but it was fixed at once. Thank you.

I shop at Dicks West Covina, Ca. store quite a bit since my son participates in three sports at the middle school level.
I generally find what I need at a fair price and the sales associates are fairly knowledgeable and donot push purchase merchandise you dont need. I do feel the sales associates should be empowered to make point of sales decisions rather than deferring to the manager when price points are in question this will expedite the checkout process. I have had two seperate experiences within the last month in regards with the same Manager on duty that had to be called because the sales associate could not take 10% off the last model of this particular discontinued Mizuno Baseball Glove. The second experience was an under armour shirt priced at 29.99 was "inadvertantly" placed in a $19.99 under armour sales rack. I was left standing in line waiting needlessly while the poor salesperson searched for an equivalant alternative. I was tired of waiting so I purchased the shirt anyway because I likes the style. In this economy Dicks should realize when a consumer has plenty of choices to spend their precious dollars a discount here or there is not going to effect their profit margin all to much when the mark up is alredy 500-600% opposed to losing a loyal shopper who spends hundreds of dollars for their childs athletic needs.

Great experience and helpful salesperson, Steve Lodge. He made locating the items I wanted easy and his knowledge of the specific items plus alternative items was immensely helpful in regards to making a selection. As a result of Steve's help, it was a pleasure to shop at the Niles store.

Tell Me why I was issued a Dick's credit card and when I went to use it on my first purchase it was declined!!! Of course Dick's couldn't do anything about it because its Mother's Day and I'm a single mother and that would just MAKE MY DAY GO WAY TO SMOOTHLY!!

I bought alot of stuffs at Sawmill Dick Sporting good in Columbus,Ohio. Used to be nice place to shop, but this is no longer true. They need to educate their employees (women cashiers - next find the name) to have good customer service. If you return merchandise with receipt and tag still in tack and you are not WHITE, watch out for that. They treated you as you committed a crime. Those cashiers really have attitude !!

Purchased a gift card and brush tees. unfortunately, there was a holdup at all 3 counters; one to sales price question that couldn't be resolved, another to a card descrepency and a third to (?). Personnel or the floor manager has to be able to resolve these quicker. There were 4-5(average)customers waiting in each line.

I shop at Dick's often as well as other places. I am an avid outsdoorsman. I enjoy the fact that I can find what I want most times and often on sale. Customer service is a nice thing but has been blown way out of proportion these days. Saving money on the things I want and need is far nicer and more important to me. My wallet and I thank you.

I completed the survey, but was unable to print my $10 discount because I was using my laptop without a printer hookup. Is there a way to get the $10 discount? The people who were doing the survey should have stated you need a printer conection on the laptop befor doing the survey so you can print the coupon.

Yesterday 12/11/10 I called the Eastern Pa store to ask if a particular item (soccer ball) was available and where exactly the store was. I spoke to a gentleman named Jeff. He not only went to check that the item was in stock, gave me the price, and gave me very good directions to the store.
To my surprise when I got to the store he rememberd talking with me got the item for me and thanked me for coming. That little above and beyond service is rare today. Hold on to that one!!!

I would like to recommend Brad from dicks sporting goods in vestal new York for his great customer service. I had a workout band snap on me a couple days after I purchased the item. I also found out that when I originally bought the item I was overcharged. Brad helped me exchange the item without a problem and refund the lost money. Thank you brad.

Hurst,Tx. store had no price tags on any items. had to hunt for a salesperson for prices. not user-friendly place of business.

Steubenville,Oh. went to store to buy STEELERS jerseys. had to wait a long while for a saleslady to finish a private conversation to get any help. will only ever shop at Dicks again as a last resort.

I was fortunate last week to go into Dick's in Charlottesville for boots. I had several makes and models selected and had no idea which was "good" for me. Rod advised me in 2 sentences! He knew his stuff! Been very satisfied with the selection he suggested. Thanks.

Additionally, as I checked out, Paula accepted my comment that there was a noted sale on these. Without hesitation, she made the correction and gave me the sale, no issues, no hassle. Nice service by professionals!
